Installation Note 63796: A SAS® Credit Scoring Server Configuration installation and configuration fails to complete, or services fail to start

When you are installing SAS Credit Scoring Server Configuration, the installation might fail to complete. Symptoms such as the following occur:
- LAX environment: SAS® Deployment Wizard fails at the SAS® Web Application Server Configuration step.
- Windows environment: SAS Deployment Wizard completes successfully, but SASServer8_1 fails to start.
Errors such as these are displayed in the log:
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'modelScorecardService': Injection of autowired dependencies failed; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Could not autowire field: private com.sas.solutions.cs.modelspecification.dao.ModelScorecardDao com.sas.solutions.cs.modelspecification.service.impl.ModelScorecardServiceImpl.modelScorecardDao; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'modelScorecardDao' defined in URL
